As an Accredited Senior Clinical Supervisor (level 7 qualified) I support students on placement, starting therapists as well as senior counselling professionals. My main modality is Person-Centred & Integrative. My support is fused with my life experiences of living and working in 18 countries and parenting four children and five grand-children. I re-trained as psychotherapist after retirement from management executive and directorship positions with international companies
About me and my practice
I offer a special rate for the compulsory 1.5 hour per month supervision for £ 60.00 inclusive of all necessary reporting and forms.
I also offer an initial free consultation (up to three hours) to ascertain if you and I will be compatible to work together to support your clients.
My therapeutic work reflects the Pluralistic approach (i.e., you decide and you lead) after all you are the main expert on yourself. My main support is to help you (to empower you) so you will gain confidence and strength to deal with your own goals and wishes.
I am also a retired management executive and I qualified as a Chartered Civil Engineer back in 1983 and worked in 18 countries around the world.
Since my retirement I have volunteered for the AGEUK and Cruse Bereavement Charities which helped me to get re-qualified as a counsellor and psychotherapist.
I am offering my counselling services and supervision to private clients as well as to companies. I have also 15 years experience volunteering for AgeUK and Cruse Bereavement Charities
Areas of my main experience
After 11 years of supporting bereaved clients, I can offer the comprehensive support: related to grief, loss, stress, trauma, boarding school abandonment, bereavement, family problems, relationship problems, loneliness, suicidal ideations, suicides, pre-bereavement, old age, retirement, work, no work, and others.
Experience
I have started supporting bereaved clients for a national bereavement charity in 2016. The deeply positive experience from this support stimulated me to get re-qualified as an independent counsellor and psychotherapist and I have now accrued over 3000 Clinical client and supervisees facing hours. In addition, I am also a qualified Clinical Supervisor and I am supporting supervisees since 2018.
As a mature therapist (77 this year) I do bring to my counselling support my life experiences of living and working in 18 countries on 4 continents.

Additional Information
I came to the UK as a student form Communist dictatorship of Czechoslovakia in 1969, just after the Russians invasion of my country. My initial experience of the real freedom and of the spirit of the 60s-70s was euphoric and I plunged head on to study Buddhism, Taoism, Yoga (Iyengar) and Traditional Chinese medicine. My main aim was to achieve enlightment. I failed and qualified as a Chartered Civil Engineer instead.
I returned to my effort to gain further understanding of human nature after my retirement and started serious study of the subject through philosophy, psychology and psychotherapy eventually gaining a full accreditation as a counsellor, psychotherapist and clinical supervisor.
My interest now relates to bridging of spiritualities between secular and faiths modalities for the use of all clients support in a true Humanistic philosophy
